The heart of the church reaches around the world and of necessity around the corner. There are a number of missions and ministries through which we reach our local mission field. We currently support seven missionaries in our home state who serve in a variety of capacities: children's home, prison ministry, Spanish ministry, etc. In addition to our supported missionaries, we put our hands, heart and feet into the local community through our bus ministry, prison ministry, Spanish ministry, Bible college, visitation ministry, and nursing home ministry We are also honored to be the sending church of James Drone who is assisted by his wife Becky and Stan Hostetter in the prison prevention outreach for Offering Hope ministries. In May of 2008, we completed a three-year project to personally knock on every door in Wilkes County. Each home receive a full-color brochure (professionally produced by one of our missionaries in Peru), a pen, candy, and a John/Romans (provided by two of our print ministry missionaries), all compliments of our church family. We are currently praying for God's direction for our next campaign, while we continue to visit and invite our neighbors to worship with us.
