WELCOME TO CHERRY GROVE
A Word From Our Pastor
It is truly an honor to serve here at Cherry Grove Baptist Church. God has allowed me to be part of this church since the day I was born. After I accepted Christ as my Saviour in 2000, my family and I served here as youth pastor for 6 years and then the Lord allowed us to go into missions for about 5 years.
It is truly an honor to serve here at Cherry Grove Baptist Church. God has allowed me to be part of this church since the day I was born. After I accepted Christ as my Saviour in 2000, my family and I served here as youth pastor for 6 years and then the Lord allowed us to go into missions for about 5 years.
In 2010, I became the pastor of Kimesville Road Baptist Church in Burlington, NC, and we served there for 8 years. In June of 2018, my Pastor resigned at Cherry Grove to head to Utah and plant churches for the glory of God. We received a call shortly after and were asked if I would consider becoming the Pastor of Cherry Grove. After much prayer, we accepted it!
We are excited about what God is doing and what He is going to do. In 2018, we began praying about building a new building offsite of where the church is located now. We broke ground in February 2020 and now we have moved into our new facility. God sure has been good! It’s our desire to serve our county and reach families who are broken, young people who are searching and anyone who just needs a friend. Our goal is to strengthen families and develop a strong faith through the preaching of God’s word. Our church is an old fashioned, KJV, Godly music, and Christ- centered church. If
